It had always been an ambition of mine to be a Oste in a Roman style Osteria, Providing the cuisine and the experiences that I learned from my mother growing up in Rome. In Rome an Osteria is a simple, country eatery providing fresh, locally sourced meals using old, at times ancient family recipes for a small, often local, set of patrons. The Oste Della Antica Roma line of sauces is the culmination of many years, many experiences, and a great and abiding love for tradition and quality. In my sauces there are no expenses spared, not corners cut, and nothing but the best available ingredients sourced locally, when available, responsibly, at all times, and internationally, for those things that can only come from Roma itself.

It has always been a great tragedy to me to see the lack of quality sauces available to the American public. A proper sauce has always been, for me, the foundation of any meal whether it is meat, vegetable, or pasta. The mixture of quality and flavor that I was taught and apprenticed with within my home country of Rome has been sadly lacking in many of the so-called Italian foods I have experienced in my many travels. To remedy this I decided to offer my home made recipes to the general public, so that every house, even those too far to enjoy the cuisine at my Osteria can experience a little taste of the Roman countryside, a little taste of home.
